A warm welcome to the Nursery page. On this page you will find information about what children are learning, latest news, achievements and useful links.

Our teachers are:

Mrs S Hill

We hope you had a lovely half term and are looking forward to our final term of school. We have enjoyed listening to everyone telling us about the adventures they had in the break! It sounds like you were all very busy and had lots of fun.

We have been learning about positional language this week, talking about whether items are on, off, over, under, in or out of a box.

We are Learning

We have been reading 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt' this week. The children have enjoyed joining in with repeated refrains throughout the story and learning about how to use positional language to describe where things are.

Please continue to read with your children at home and sign their reading record.
Please could you encourage your children to continue to scribe some of the letters they have learnt in phonics to reinforce what they are learning.

Year Group Events

To be announced.

E Safety

At Dorrington, we believe that the Internet plays an important role in developing children’s learning. As part of our commitment to E-Safety we recommend that children use  ‘Safe Search’ (Click the link below) when browsing the Internet at home. Safe search is designed to make it safer for children to access webpages. However, it is still recommended that children are always supervised when using the Internet.
